OVERSEAS BRAND !

David Brand bi passes last weekends Vic Open – He had an overseas venture on his mind, the Tasmanian Open.
Dave is now the over 40’s & over 50’s Tasmanian Champion, although it has been declared that he was the only competitor with over 1500 points on Ratings Central.
David was Runner Up in the Mens Singles to an opponent who did a lot of his early training at Oak Park + Coburg clubs. & who had more luck than Stephen Bradbury.
Plus David finished the event in a wrecked state due to injury. By the next Morning the injury to his Peck was so bad that he could not even lift the tooth brush (although Abdul points out it does require a big tooth brush)
David is now in doubt for the Yarrawonga tournament but he has stated he would not travel to Yarrawonga  if Craig-Kouros-Zach or Barak were in the field.  He is also unsure that given his injuries & his partner in the Open Doubles Martin Slingo his ‘weapons’ might not hold enough fire power.
We hope he recovers in time to resume his Pennant career at Coburg for the Spring comp.
