THE OLD MISSING BOARD TRICK _ Its 10 minutes after the 2 teams were ready to start. Send Dave Chris K down from court 5 to get the board. He shoots off and now its Martin who offered to umpy the Doubles is not scampering through the box looking for the missing board. Kumar had in but he was now on court 6, with a court 5 score board. Not long after Martin returns – time to get a pen ! But i can report they did manage to play the match.
EARN the Train – Has played in International matches- has competed against some of Australia’s and Malaysia’s best players but never been in a Doubles match like last night. Occasionally some one actually played a conventional shot- but not too many t- When are partnering with Frank Z a rather cagey tricky gentleman, playing Jack B and the other Frank you don’t get too many straight balls. And how did Earn feel after the match ? he twisted and turned that much he thought he was in a Tai Chi class.
Earn now hopes to re play Jack B about 6 pm on Sunday after he has had all day warming up playing matches. One or 2 long rallies sounds a treat to our TT guru.
